StowFiesta and Stowmarket Carnival joining forces to create the Stowmarket Jubilee Extravaganza on Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd June.

The Jubilee procession will signal the start of the two day event, leaving PPG at 12 noon on Thursday 2nd. StowFiesta will see two full days of live music and free family entertainment at Stowmarket’s Chilton Fields, starting at 1pm on each day.  THURSDAY 2ND JUNE

1.30pm to 2.05pm – Cold Town original harmony-filled acoustic rock.
2.05pm to 2.25pm – Josie Edie May solo acoustic singer / songwriter.
2.25pm to 3.05pm – Supermega duo playing classics with a reggae twist. (see video)
3.05pm to 3.25pm – Josie Edie May solo acoustic singer / songwriter.
3.25pm to 4.15pm – Diggin’ for Diamonds 7-piece funk band specialising in the rarer side funk.
4.15pm to 4.40pm – A Light Left On piano / acoustic guitar duo playing covers and originals.
4.40pm to 5.20pm – Albion Mills 4 piece rock band specialising in tunes from the ‘golden age’- 1966-74. 
5.20pm to 5.45pm – A Light Left On piano / acoustic guitar duo playing covers and originals.
5.45pm to 6.25pm – The Good, The Bad, The Ugly….and Jim 4-piece band with a massive repertoire, including rock, Britpop and rock ‘n’ roll. 
6.25pm to 6.50pm – Mark Stevens solo acoustic singer / guitarist playing originals and covers.
6.50pm to 7.30pm – The Blaggers harmony filled classics that we all know and love!
7.30pm to 7.55pm – Mark Stevens solo acoustic singer / guitarist playing originals and covers.
7.55pm to 9pm – JS and the Lockerbillies dynamic band playing rock and roll / rockabilly hits and a few originals.
Clubhouse:  9.15pm to 11.30pm – The Blaggers  – harmony filled classics that we all know and love!

FRIDAY 3RD JUNE

John Peel Centre session: 1.30pm to 2.10pm – Connor Adams Band Connor is a popular Suffolk based singer songwriter playing upbeat original indie / rock.
John Peel Centre session: 2.10pm to 2.50pm – Serena Grant – solo acoustic singer  / guitarist playing originals and covers.
John Peel Centre session: 2.50pm to 3.20pm – Elsi solo acoustic singer  / guitarist playing original songs.
John Peel Centre session: 3.20pm to 4pm – Breeze Redwine Band Breeze is an acclaimed locally based singer songwriter who, along with her band, will be performing an set of her original Americana-tinged numbers.
4pm to 4.25pm – The Last Gunfighter – Rob Lewis – solo acoustic singer / guitarist playing originals and covers with a country twang.
4.25pm to 5.10pm – The High Points Norfolk’s funkiest trio playing originals and covers.
5.10pm to 5.35pm – The Last Gunfighter – Rob Lewis – solo acoustic singer / guitarist playing originals and covers with a country twang.
5.35pm to 6.25pm – The Wayward Sons The Wayward sons are a 4 piece band playing all the songs you love but rarely hear played live.
6.25pm to 6.50pm – Ben Smith  solo acoustic singer playing originals and covers.
6.50pm to 7.50pm – Rude and Reckless ska and reggae classics and rarities.
7.50pm to 8.15pm – Ben Smith solo acoustic singer playing originals and covers.
8.15pm to 9pm – Chart Attack fantastic party band playing covers from all sorts of genres and eras.

  • WHAT IS STOWFIESTA?

    StowFiesta is a free annual community festival, organised by Stowmarket Town Council, which takes place at Chilton Fields, Stowmarket and features top quality musical acts from both the local area and further afield as well as family entertainment and a wide range of stalls. The festival launched as 'StowFest' in 2007, evolving into StowFiesta in 2014.

    For 2022, StowFiesta has merged with Stowmarket Carnival to create the 'Stowmarket Jubilee Extravaganza' to mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee in style!
